Série Magenta

Série Magenta grew out of a private process of cutting, damaging, and reworking photographs. Images from a family archive are fragmented and recombined; bodies and faces become part of layered structures that sometimes suggest an unfamiliar city or landscape. The images remain recognizable yet unstable, somewhere between recollection and alienation, producing ghostlike forms in which the past appears partial, shifting, and continually reconstructed.
